electric wing mirrors

i just bought some off ebay

and was now wondering how to fit them?

dizzie did you do this or was it blue?

pictures of were they plug in the fuseboard or description would be cool

I think Dizzy fitted them too ???

The black/yellow = heater element switch wire,
Red = live,
Brown = earth

the brown wire simply clips into the earth pole near the fuse box.

^This is all from the top of my head but the black/yellow wire connects to the rear windscreen de-mister switch for the heating element to turn on/off.

They are easy to fit. Simple bolt off/on job but the most annoying problem is with the door membrains. Hate that stuff!

You will also need the heated mirror glass.

thats alrite rik when i done it i will put up a guide, you can always come round mine or vica versa im sure we can some to some arrangement.

no point putting my 10 bhp on the rollers lol, not til ive done the cam and exhaust at least, im not 100% certain i got all the wires either for mirrors
