As far as I know it does not slow a car down. But does protect it from stone chips etc and SA roads are notoriously poor.

I see the problem now.  You misunderstood my post.
If you look at the first picture there is a statue of Beethoven on the GTI's bonnet.

It was not a dig at the car's owner, just a bit of banter.
Currently digging a bunker.

tks, power is around 250BHP at the wheels....Forge is from the UK, so is Aquamist...FRC hails from Netherlands but we have a tuner here in SA who custom tunes FRC maps...I log data and he tunes from there as we tune the car according to mods...
