Having apr exhaust+ stage 2 map+carbonio fitted at awesome, do i need a up rated fuel pump+dv.

afaik the uprated HPFP and DV are optional for stage 2.

IMO go for the uprated DV in the first instance if your budget allows it.

Just thinking the engine might want moor fuel, going from 230 hp to 320 hp.

DV - yes definitely recommended. Had mine installed today and the quality is second to none.

HPFP - Optional on Stage 2, but I know from Revo on a normal GTI that you can't run as much boost if you don't upgrade the fuel pump, as the engine cuts the fuel because the standard pump cannot cope with the increased stress. (This applies to Stage 2 Revo software, and may not apply to the ED30, or the APR Software. Research this on your own to confirm).

Get the pump, the midrange boost is brilliant, my ED30 was running nearly 350ft/lbs of torque, I liked it :smiley:

Got to get HPFP and DV more money i will have to spend. Do i need new injectors as well, thanks for the help,i will be down at prosport to meet you all.
