Small Bumpers Question

Help Please.

I’m looking get hold of some new small bumpers for my mk2. I’m sure I have seen just plain black ones are these from a cl?

Do VW still supply them? If so do you know the part number for the front and back? If VW don’t supply them do you know of anyone who does?

I don't think you can get them from VW any more. Try Euro Car Parts or German and Swedish.

I thought the CL's were separate? Because they didnt have arch trims I thought

The driver was a slightly higher spec aswell as the CL didnt come with the quad light grill I dont think.

My mums got a red 3 door Mk2, its a C reg and it is completely original with no wheel arches and hers says CL on the back?!!!

the only difference between a driver and a cl is the trim level, driver got gti arch trims the cl did not.  engine and interiors are mostly the same (i.e. pretty rubbish)  However later drivers came with the 1.8 pinched from the gl, and tended to be a bit nicer, black carpets and rev counter as std.

Just found out that GSF are not stocking bumpers anymore!!!!!

They advised that they have a few lying about dependent on the store.

I have managed to get hold of a black Driver front bumper £27.50 + VAT – trade discount   (I think they want to get rid of them)

As for the rear they don’t have any.

Euro Car Parts still stock them but at £36.95 + VAT
