thanks vixter called him seemed reasonably price buut was booked up until mid next week. am going to try garage at the end of my road as they can do it thursday and i need the car for the weekend.
i figure if they mess it up being next door it will be easy to make their life hell!!!!!!!!
will use the other garage in future for some of the other work i need doing though.

What about Mr Cltuch in Shoreham ... used them in the past as seem to do a good job - u can get Sachs clutches through them too so not far off genuine VW quality.

considered mr.clutch but was scared they might of been like quik fit my grandad went back to them 6 times to get his exhaust fixed then did it himself.
