Strip it and cage it. probably get the value of the car back for the parts you rip out.

When i bought my ed 30 a week ago, i could have bought a silver R32 five door with leather+ 6000 miles on a feb 08 for £16800 vw uk stock. I had no part X.

£15999 for a GTi, rather save 2 more grand for a Edition 30 :wink: being that ive had both.

Bargain car for 16k a GTi, say that this time last year, you'd think " what planets he on"

but that wouldnt be a brand new ed30??!!?  :huh: and that coming from you can only really make me laugh,  :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: after all, this time last year the ed30 was a waste of space??. was it not??  :huh: :laugh: :laugh:

i didnt say it it wasnt worth it!? i also didnt once say i was ever on the look out for one,  :huh: :undecided: duno where you got that, i might have said in the past that id have one over the gti, which is obvious  :huh:

I am with you. I remember PM saying how meaningless E30 was. Not he in earnest protects its honor.  :grin: If he'd only get it remapped, then we'd have another convert in 300hp club.  :cool:

PM, trust me (and countless others) - 300hp in E30 is worth it! Especially in Britain where it is dirt cheap!
