« on: 25 May 2004, 09:55 »
Hi All

yesterday got the mk1 convertible out of the garage as it looked a lovely day went to my mates house to pic him up for work and the oil light came on .....  got some oil from the garage 2 x 1ltr bottles of 10/40 and put 1 in.

Oil light came on again so decided to stop and put the other bottle in.......  BIG MISTAKE ----- white smoke everywhere from the back of the car.......  so got towed all the way home by the AA still with my roof down and the car is currently at the doctors now im waiting for the call......

thought i would share this

Stephen (cant wait to get it back and get the roof down !!)
