alrite!new to this forum as i aint actually got a golf yet..but thinkin of buyin one
wat all to look out for when buy a 1986 mk1?1.3CL
im guessin a 1986 is a mark 1?
it says the carburettor nees stipped?hard to do or wud u jus replace it or wat?
wat price u talkin bout considerin its got 135000  miles and worn inside.
aint seen it yet lo goin2morro nite!

1986 makes it a mk2. Bit more info required really, any tax and test, which model is it?  A carb's not the easiest thing to strip out and setup again.  If the cars pretty untidy you should be able to get it quite cheap if you defo want it.  remember to shop around tho.  The first car you view is never the best and just to make sure, try and view more than one tyhat similar so you have something to compare it with. Best thing you can do, is go and have a look, find out exactly what the cars all about then post your questions here.  ;)

hw much money are u talking about spending??  this one doesnt sound worth very much to be honest - does it have tax and mot - service history, bodywork etc in order??
