« on: 16 October 2008, 21:28 »
ok its all gone wrong this week

first my brakes wer all over the place so i tightened them up an tightened the wheel baring nut up ( just replaced beakes, wheel barings etc.) anyway.... think the balancing needs doing on my car ......

thats not the bite in the arse

went out init today running fine... put some petrol init went to the bank runnin fine

then its started playin up... pulled off from the lights an it cut out...started agen pulled off an started judderein

if you pull off nice an slow its ok but you exellerate abit its started judderin an it wont stop

its does it thru every gear

but if your not in gear you can rev the bolox off it an its sweet

an then this is what shocked me the most..

i went to work an left the car at home an my dad had a look and there was nothing wrong with it

he took it out an it was runnin sweet

im reali stumped  :undecided:

can i have some advice?

It it ain't still happening, don't worry

i had this a month back, and it was cos it was running very rich. Get the emmisions tested, and tune to factory spec.

Ah right, refer to the RJ tune up guide and check all earth connections. Then check the fuel pump.
Does the fuel pump prime (hear it?) when you turn the ignition to 2?

^^ if that checks out, pull the electrical plug off the main pump under the car and repeat the test.  if you dont hear the in-tank pump prime that would be the problem!
but fix the fuel rail leak before you do anything else, often the ends get all cracked.  just chop a cm or so off the line and refit :)
