i really like the way the grill is with the mk1 and mk5 with the red line for the gti ?

why did they never do it on the mk4 and has anyone ever seen something like this on a mk4 ?

You can get a front bumper that has the "mk5" style front grill in it.

I agree, the flash of red that was a notorious mark of a GTi in the 80's and 90's is sorely missed.
Bring back the red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah i think the mk4 would of looked nice with the red line.

im not necessarily bothered of the bumper, just if there was a grill or maybe theres a way of doing it.
just wanted to know if anyone has seen it or done it

could you use the idea from that link but apply it to the kamei front grill? Might look better on a black car, but it might be a way of acieving the look you are after?
