^^^^  :lipsrsealed:

Unfortunately not many people (if any) will look after your car the way you or most of us would

It's also rare a bodyshop will actually properly valet a car, there interpretation of valet is to mop off the area around the repair, vac it out and hose it down!

Unlucky bud, hope it gets sorted soon!

i think they had washing machines in 1990. good one though.

on the thread, stuff like body panels not being aligned right is poor workmanship. dirty pedals matter for absolutely nothing on the face of things.

anyway what happened to the car, did you crash it? should have crashed it better and written it off because an accident repaired vehicle will never be the same as it was new.

Sorry for you R32... my Ed30 is going into the dealers next Monday for a look at the DSG box.  They want to keep it for 2 days and I am really worried that it might come back with a scratch or two, or three and a little dent to wrap it all up.  People just don't seem to give a s81t anymore.  You shouldn't have to be worried when giving something like a car in for a repair or service.

Unbelievable what the think they can get away with. And that's not even an old car like some of us drive!

Which insurance company is that, anyway? It's always good to know which ones are clueless and should be avoided! If they can't select a proper bodyshop, then they are in the wrong business.

Good on you that you have a good eye for detail!
