treat for my golf today

well i have treat my golf today too all new gear rod's and bushes , including all the stuff for the remote in the car ,

firstly thank you for the picture's / advice in the mantainance section it was really easy to change because of this   :wink:

secondly i have a lot of front to back movment still on my gear lever to a i looked and there is something broken/missing

the ringed item is missing  :huh: :huh:


so i went off to VW and 55euro's plus tax  :shocked: :shocked:

comes comlete with the rod and every thing (bugger) but i ordered it

then i have changed the oil again with a genuine filter and some 10W40 , thermostat , blue temp sensor and new coolant :)

ooooh she's all new , ready for my trip to germany to see me mate who's in hospital after a fatal sidecar racing crash a month ago   :cry: 1000 k's round trip

Ah mate, you should have posted a wanted ad, I got a brand new one of those ball things with the rod sat in a cupboard at home. You could have had it for just the postage!

a guy on here was selling tougher ones for little money, made from nylon not rubber i think...

I dont think he is makin em anymore, go to missinglinkz in the US instead. he does very nice ball end linkage upgrade kits too, I have one it is teh shiny!

missinglinkz kit is pretty much identical to tsr, but much cheaper ;)
