good/bad news for wheel whores
« on: 16 October 2008, 13:25 »
hi just got an email from potn (i know, i know...) all about next years wheel trends. now these guys cater to the max power/ fast car brigade but what they predict is shocking. a return in popularity of the old skool wheels ie bbs borbet, avez etc. small and wide. the ban news is chav tractors everywhere are going to be running around on respectful (looking) wheels.

the good news...fashions come and go, style remains. when they are all back into big 5 spokes or spinners or whatever there's going to be loads of old skool (looking) deep dish wheels cheap on ebay. again that can be seen as good or bad!

Small and deep dish is played out. Big, spoked, tucked 90's TOCA look is making a comback.

TSW Venoms, remember those? Seen a few sets on eBay recently go for silly money and by silly I mean expensive!

Wow - it says they love their cars and we should check out the cars their staff drive:

Now, never mind the appalling dross that stinks their car park out, check out the kerrayzee staff photos - what a lot of faces for radio they employ.

It's still not immediately obvious what the hell potn stands for.

I'll stick with big, stylish rims. Mini me alloys only look good on old skool cars.

Noooo! I don't want to see sh*t cars using nice wheels.

Not one nice car owned by the POTN people!

Except the golf ;)
