I've read about issues with power steering on the raceland manifolds, but that might just be for rhd in which case i guess you'd be ok!

Hello,

I have one on my daily. The only problem on a RHD car is the downpipe runs close the bottom of the steering column shaft. I covered the boot over the UJ with heat proofing otherwise it may have got too hot. been running this now for around a year with no problems.

Since you are in Holland, I take it your car is LHD, so the fittment should be fine.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

ok cool did you notice any power gain's ???

and how hard are they to fit ??? do you need the subframe off to fit it ?? i understand that you dont need it off to remove the down pipe but the 4 branch is bigger

it was fitted before i owned the car, so i cant say how difficult it is to fit or if there were any power gains

also i havent driven another GTI so i have nothing to compare the current GTI's power to.

the problem with these is the flange at the end. iirc, you have to use a mk3 exhaust system for it to fit, as it wont cnnect to mk2 systems.
