Being 22 and owning a GTi is the way forward.......................!!

Make the most of it! an dont do something stupid like me an buy a house...... theyre not as fun as fast cars...

jkctr my friend, if your going to Finsbury, Honestly fella, you do not need a car, Tubes buses an taxis aplenty and cars get battered in london ....id be well upset if i bought a nice ed30 only to find a different mark on it every week. Buy a runner, just to travel home every now an then or whatever, an bank the money, you'll need it.

An what Job you planning to do in London?
Skoda Octavia VRS DSG (soon!)
Skoda Rapid Spaceback

An a Signum for towing me old caravan!

I know what you mean mate, i appreciate the comment, but i want a car for more than just the aspect of travel! I love cars, i would sell all my clothes, PS3, xbox, tv etc etc before i could part with my car! Its where i go to chill out, enjoy my music and enjoy the car. I also love modifying, its a hobby. Also im a very keen detailer and get great pride from having a very clean car.
My girlfriend is the first to get annoyed when i spend money on a car but even she has said to just get it if i want it

It will be great to have it if i get this flat (off road parking with an electric gate being fitted!!) so it wouldnt really get marked and i wouldnt use it for work (so lower insurance as its just for social) also the miles stay down and i get to have a car that, at 22, i shouldnt realy have.

As for jobs, i have managerial experience in retail and also know David Potts:

Tesco Board of Directors
David Potts, Retail and Logistics Director (46)
Worked in Ireland 1997 – 2000 before returning to take up current position
Salary: £531,000 (£1.661m)

So a handy person to know

i moved to london when was 22 with my gf, been here 3 years now i work in sales and its long hours but after a couple of years i managed to upgrade my mini to a lovely ed30 so cant complain, i dont use it to go to work as trains and buses are adequate but not a nice experience, as soon as I get my promotion which comes with a parking space I know what i am gonna be doing, I dont really agree with some saying a car is not necessary as after working a long week and travelling with soap dodgers on public transport you just want to jump in your car on saturday morning and get the hell out of their, also handy for going to shops and gym etc.

so do it and speak to greenlight!
