Why are some threads being moved? MkII

Why delete all the threads and lock the thread - is this some sort of dictatorship now?

Ive been out tonight and missed pages 9-20, which I'm sure were riveting.

What has this forum turned into?

....

I think that topher was absolutely right to insist that we were to take much more care in posting new threads in the appropriate section of the site but totally out of order to censor, by cutting out 20 pages, what was a reasoned and calm discussion and sharing of ideas about the the Mk5 forum and its relationship to others. We all stood to learn and gain from that discussion.

I disagree so strongly with this principle of censorship in this instance that I am very seriously thinking of leaving this site.

Will this thread get locked/trashed I wonder?

thanks for that Red Robin, thats what I mean, I missed out tonight, have no idea whats going on, other than some BS about loads threads being moved and some daft excuse about them wanting advertising.
Well I am also thinking of leaving too, the community is seriously going to suffer under this b0ll0cks.

Not by me.

There are still a couple of threads going on this subject in the chat nonsense section, but they aren't really very constructive :undecided:
