My Huffs with the two colours cost me £100 per corner. I'd love a set of original Monza's on my ED30 as when the sunlight hits them they just look so  :cool: (I would deffo get the insets done in black though  :wink:)

I know what your saying and £65 a corner re-cut doesnt sound too bad but I dont need 2 sets of pristine wheels ;)

Having fully experienced the white worm, I do not want to have to regularly spend money on refurbing my wheels and I love the Monzas as a design exclusive to the GTI.

Yup. It actually chemically bonds to the wheel and with it being plastic, it's much more resilient where as lacquer is brittle by comparison.

It will be a tad thicker on application, so keep it out of the spigot - I didn't and my RC's were tight as hell!!

My Monza's are still as they left the factory, so I've not refurb'd them - but I've had a few sets of wheels powdered in the past and never had any issues with them... it's just clear instead of coloured, unlike lacquer which isn't the same as paint.

Here's a thread with a home-refurb of something similar using clear powder.

 I am fiending for Huffs but the dealer price of £1300 is daftness !

right wheres a set of Genuine Monza's 2, that need a furb , EBAY !  :smiley:
