Hey!!
Ok so i did my service yesterday and all seemed well! started her up no misfire no oil leaking, only thing was the pipercross filter the guy ordered in for me was the wrong one, so i have to wait till tuesday for it!
So then i ventured into installing the cold air feed, again all seemed well had to make a few modifications to some unseen body work to make the 70mm pipe fit to the side front grill but was all good!
UNTIL..... i went to drive home and it started to kangaroo down the road everytime i went to put my foot down!!So i went back and started to investigate no pipes off all sensors were on
Spoke to a mate who works for vee dub and he said to remove the MAF sensor and see if it still does it, so i did and she runs with no kangaroo BUT the boost has dropped to half of what it was, hardly any whistle from the turbs, Is this normal?? He said with out the sensor it will run in a standard mode, but its def running rich, you can smell it and see the petrol gauge dropping down???
He said he's going to order me a new MAF sensor and he's going to vag com it and re set the ECU settings as these will have prob changed!!
So its been an interesting weekend!!
