My golf Vs a Metro!!!!
« on: 12 October 2008, 11:39 »
So i was out last nite, went to southend, met up with some mates, won a few quid in the arcades.  On the way home, had some fun with another golf (very close), a type R (cained him) and an RS Turbo (beat)!  All is well and good.  Took a little diversion to Lakeside and was molestered by a metro! I cannot believe it!  I dont know what he was running but id seen it beat a Porsche Carrera S before but didnt realise it was the same one lol.  I would have teken the reg for other peoples sake and tell then to LEAVE IT if they saw it about lol.

I GOT BEAT BY A METRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Front mount next for sure!

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it could be the one with the K-Series 1.8 VVC (160) in it??

If it is head-gasket probably went last night if it's any comfort

On FMIC upgrade, was reading a very interesting thread on mkIV's last night where an american upgraded smic had replaced a forge fm. Forge now also do a side mount.

Yes, Forge have sold that for a while, now.  I'd save your money on any 'uprated' IC, though.
