Hi all

Right iam getting a bit bored of my mk3 abf..dont get me wrong iam loving the the abf and how it moves but its just so bloody boring to drive feels like a bus right now and on stilts. So i was thinking of just uprating the suspension and putting a stainless on it but i dont want to spend a huge amount of money as i dont see the point (ive got my wise head on).

So i ask any of you who know of a fairly budget but decent sus kit you can recomend. and a decent stainless cat back system.

cheers it really does scrub up well but doesnt take long to get dirty again.

Well mate if your on a budget it might be worth keeping an eye out in the classifieds on here an e38 for a second hand suspension kit an exhaust. Just keep with the well known names you cant go wrong really

thanks mate thats not a bad idea ill keep my eyes peeled..iam tempted with this hottuning coil over group buy but not sure if i can hack the ride quality

have u look at the group buy for hottuning coilovers for £150. few members on here have them and for that price u cnt really go wrong!!!!!

as for exhausts, try ebay as well, still get some good bargains. but as mentioned try going for a well known brand.

Hottuning coilies m8, you want uprated suspension, with a half decent and amazing handling improvements, then get them!

what are the ride like on these are they bouncy as that would just bore me even more lol

hard to say, caus i find the ride perfect now, but i guess im used to it.

i do find them bouncy on crap roads, but then most suspension is bouncy. even when it does bounce it aint terrible. although i did find it to bounce a bit when i drove up to bristol, but thats the only time i found it to be "bouncy" as such.

ride isnt as comfortable, but it is never going to be with sports suspension. BUt thats why it handles better and doesnt feel like a boat.

basically i, along with lots of others that own them would highly recommend them.

yeah i see what your saying but i dont think you get the bouncyness with more expensive suspension..how low have you got yours?
