Not having the full postcode is ok if you have the street name. If you dont.... well then you get to spend a few extra minutes driving around!

With such a good quality map/zoom function it doesnt take long!!

That's nearly acceptable, considering I'll want the Bluetooth & MMI on top.

I might get some stuff on ebay I've got lying around and see what Santa brings me for Christmas?

Without trying to sound like a dick (I am going to be biased in my opinion here) I have spent considerably less than that in upgrading my HU to an decent Alpine HU (only single din mind you), 2 8'' subs and an amp to power it all. I am also planning up on upgradeing the speakers and will still have spent A LOT less than £750. I know it does look pretty and all but an aftermarket HUs with a decent sub and amp with upgraded speakers is going to sound a million times better.

Just my 2 pence worth.

No, you're perfectly entitled to pick what's best for you. Sounds like you have a nice system.

All I want is NAV and a decent functioning ipod link in an OEM bundle.. I know I could get a double din aftermarket one cheaper, but it won't work with my full computer and they just scream "pinch me"

I can put it in my MKVI GTI/Scirocco in 12 months time when I swap cars too.

Does the RCD have the built in hd like the RNS? I fancy one but don't need the sat nav.  This RCD listing on ebay doesn't mention a hd... :undecided:
GTI Edition 30, 3Dr, Manual, Black Pearl, Xenons, Ipod, Highline, Rear Tints & Superchips Bluefin ;)
