its been off for a while since the engine swop, but today i went to fit the heatshield that goes over the exhaust down the centre of the car.
all i got are 2 good threads with 8mms and huge washers on, all the other threads seem to knackerd, and where the heatshield sits on these, has hugggeeee holes, i dont think ill have washers big enough to cover them!
so can you get new heatshield, is it likely to cost the earth.
and secdonly any other tips on securing the shield without using the threads that come out of the body work.
