Guys

Have a look at this intercooler, looks nice, the only thing you need to trim is a part of the radiator support , something else, our european cars I believe have a crash bumper unlike US cars, can anyone confirm ?? do you need to remove the crash bar to install this IC ??

Doesn't the EJ IC make the original oem one redundant even though the oem one has to stay in place?
Without traction power is nothing!

The oem IC remains in place but is not used.
iirc EJ provides caps with its FMIC kit to put over the oem outlets as that IC just becomes a dead weight and only really used to attach the air con condenser.

yes

what i need to know also is if our front is the same as the US front, I beleive they have no crash bumper the US models.

Cause this intercooler seems to be the best and even is priced nice at US595

Anyone ?

Pretty arrogant reply by the second poster in that thread - typical yank.

Looking in detail at the EJ one, including the graph, it actually looks less efficient than the Forge one.  And I bet it wont be cheap when you add all the import taxes and duties.

Nope, the US cars still have the BFO crash bar - but that shouldn't get in the way anyway.

Don't agree.  It is performing worse than the Forge, and as bacillus rightly stated, it completely by-passes the OEM cooler.  The graph plots look very poor.

All show and no go . . . .
