help with mk3 plz

hi i have a golf mk3 gti i have changed the top mounts but now when i drive the car seams to stear all over the place any idears

Ive got the very same problem mate... got told by another forum member that because the struts have been off everything is out of line, you will need to get the tracking and camber done.

Taking mine down tomorrow to be done as well.

Feels cack to drive and seems to go wherever it wants... almost as if the wheels are loose? and even worse in the wet?

check the rubber joints in the lower arms. once they are worn and perished they cant become disconnected as such and feel floaty and distant

should only be about £30 - £50 for the pair about about 45 mins to fit

Checked them already... checked everything down there lol

Yea ok mate, im gunna try and get mine done tomorrow on my lunch break at work so will let you no after.

I got a quote earlier though just so you know:

£30 for the tracking

And £50 for tracking and camber which is worth doing to make sure its sitting right.

Thats from a place called Jeff Falkes wheels - they do alloys, tyres, suspension, fitting and servicing. Based in Ibstock in Leicestershire if thats any good to you. No idea where you are lol but ya never no!

But im sure any kind of tyre place will do it for a similare price mate.
