I've been after the car for about 3 weeks now and I sense I'm close :-\
Mayday bank holiday weekend I heard, through word of mouth, down my local, of this mk2 Golf GTI up for sale. The owner is lodging and the landlord wants him to get rid of this car that has been sat there for ages. Loads of money spent on engine mods, alloys, custom exhaust, bee sting aerial etc. Anyway go to look at it only to find he's already sold it for ?300 :o Gutted, the car looked really clean and well cared for and couldn't find any problems >:(
Now turns out the youngster that has bought it can't afford the insurance and so hasn't come and picked it up........guess who's offered to pay the lad the ?300 and take the car instead ;) Fingers crossed :-X

No, Hazels Audi 80 will go.......she keeps saying she wants something smaller ;) you'll probably see less of my Coupe at the shows though ;)

I am so tempted to buy another Mk1 for a restoration project, my last one Sarah walked off with for a steal.  Was hoping it had gone to a good home, but after reading about her doing 360's on M roads i begin to wonder!  ;D

Sarah did a great job of avoiding the back end of my Audi not to mention avoiding hitting anything else.......I can assure you its gone to a good home ;)

My brother in law, Ian, is chasing up the Mk2 for me today, so hopefully will know the outcome later today :-\

LOL, it won't be my Audi that goes, it'll be Hazels........although I am toying with the idea of getting rid of my one if we get this mk2......we'll have to see :-\
