Here another few pictures from my collection: -

That's a nice flat torque curve .. limited for DSG I presume ?

Not heard of Richter remaps very often - was it done at Richter Sport in Milton Keynes ?

That to me if the Perfect Map, lovelly steady ,controlable torque curve and must drive oh so smoothly. One bit of good news for SteveP and Richter maps.

yup not a bad plot that, but i would have expected the torque to be a bit higher considering its an ED30.

That's how a working bluefin map should look like too I think.

Hi Jonny,

Yes, my remap is provided by Richter Sport of Milton Keynes, they are part of the Wayside VW group who I use as my main dealer.

The remap was applied by Richter at my local VW dealer for a special price  as part of a compensation deal after some issues with my car.

The normal price is £499 inc VAT, details can be found here http://www.richtersport.com/displayservice.asp?id=10&p=5

TBH I was a little unsure if it was the right thing to do at the time as it's a bit of an unknown map, but the cost to me and the commitment from my dealer that there would be no issues in the future should a warranty claim be within the "grey area" of could it be affected by the map etc.

My dealer also has some of their demo cars remapped by them as well so that gave me a bit more confidence too.

However since having it applied I can say I am very happy with the overall improvement in the car and it's now been on for nearly 10K miles.

Like you said its a very flat and consistent torque curve (but not massively high), the guys JKM said for just a remap and ITG filter I should be very pleased with the results.

So my general thoughts are that if your not planning any further engine performance mods then I would personally recommend the map from my own experiences. However if you want the ability to customise things for specific mods then I would look elsewhere (for me that would be Revo).

Oh yes,...it was that sort of look, however I will hold off until I have seen the Techs at Superchips 6/10,......I'm on the road at 6am and won't be home until about 8/9pm so may not get chance to post any results although I'll do my best!!
