Got the car given just less than a year ago, 16 previous owners, no service history, most owners lived on Ravenscliffe and car had been off road 2 years had 2 black 13" steelies, 2 silver 13" steelies, rust in a few places, green mold interior...... the list goes on but she's starting to get there.  I figured I might aswell put in the money to get her how I want since I got the base car FOC.

I'm hoping that "one day" will be by the end of next week.

Had a bit of money left over from a loan sitting in my savings account so decided to go on a mission this week.  Bought 90 spec kit for it, it's in for re-spray and next door is mechanic for new clutch and timing settting correctly.  While it's there I've removed the interior and taken it down to MJ for a black leather/white stitch re-trim with VW logo detailing on the back of the seats.  In the meantime I'm buying the ICE install and doing bits of wiring and such to renew/uprate various looms.

Should be nice even though I've only gone for exterior re-spray.

Sounds like it's going be tops when it's finished. You'll have to let me know how you get on with MJ Interiors as I could do with mine being re-carpeted at some point.

I'll bring it round when I get back from Luton a week tomorrow for you to have a look for yourself mate.

Picking up my ex girlfriend from university to bring her home and she lives up by you (ambleside drive).  I should have the seats, bodykit, respray and gear linkage/timing setup properly by then and hopefully most of the ICE.  Gonna get the door cards done at a later date when I've built custom pods.
