My first car before the Golf was a mk3 Fiesta - 1.0 - 4 gears and although fun at the time (forgive me I knew no different) I got sick of blowing the engines. Went through 2 engines within a year and decided that enough was enough when an old friend gave me the golf.
The golf is a 1.8 8v on a '88 plate and had been off the road for nearly 2 years, no tax or mot and looked a shed but with a 1.8 lump under the bonnet I decided it was time to start investing in a proper car... nearly a year later and it's getting there
She's gonna feel so much faster when I get her back if not for the timing setting up properly for the fact I'll have gottedn used to this crappy Renault.
Just bought clear front indicators and fogs for new bumper and need to buy another 2x12" subs for the boot to sit alongside my 15" JBL and a few sets of comps in front and back.
Hopefully my screen will arrive in the morning so have to start looking into building a custom dash mount for it at same time as doing custom sub/amp build and parcel shelf.
