This is the first time I have joined any forum and I am glad to see the GTI forum is so busy ! I have a 92 5door white 8v and luv it ! This is my 3rd mk 2 and previously had a mk 1. Passed its MOT last week and the mechanic testing it said it was the best one he had ever seen and had a real soft spot for GTIs. He didnt say the same about our Disco 3 when I took that a few days later. Just wanted to highlight the fact wherever you go people always appreciate a clean mk 2. Great to drive and live with - an the best thing is the wife wont even sit in it ! said its a banger !! Ha
