There has been a build thread on edition38 for almost 2 years now. It is a must to read.
Although its not a W12 engine it is a twin engined VR6, which the owner is thinking of bolting a brace of turbos to it!!

Yeah, fair play to him I suppose. But I wouldn't think there would be a massive weight difference between a Mk3 Golf and a Lupo to be honest. A bit, but not loads.. Awesome bit of kit though..

I would say a Lupo is a fair bit lighter than a mk3 golf.
My friend Ian bought this mad Lupo from Venom Motorsport, and let me loose in it, it was/is by far the quickest car I've ever driven.

I think the Lupo's were cool cars and don't know what on earth VW were thinking when they decided to replace it with the Fox.
The Lupo GTI is a certain future classic.

Seen that Lupo on here before , absolutly barmy  , but its not a W12 ! 

Lupos are such good looking little cars ! problem is there a bit too small for me !
