REVO
« on: 01 October 2008, 22:28 »
After much debate I've decided on going for a Revo remap.  I've been talking to a dealer in Mansfield and he has offered basic stage 1 all in for £449 on my ED30, I've asked if he could further discount if we on the forum "made a day of it" and a few more were intersted in getting their cars remapped.  Gonna speak to them further tomorrow, but just of intrest would anyone here be interested - hoping to get it down to maybe £400 all in for basic stage one ?

Regards,

Gareth

Whether you succeed in getting a discount or not, the Revo is definitely worth its cost. Not only are they VAG specialists but their aftersales service is second to none - They don't just leave you on your own with their appointed agents.

Also, there's the ability to make important adjustments in the performance map at any time.

I have no hesitation in strongly recommending them from my own direct experience.

£449 is a very good price. You will not regret revo, all of my future vag cars will be going to revo for a remap. As RR says their customer service before and after is second to none.

iirc Oettinger have been bought out by APR and they(APR) use the Oettinger map on the ED30.

Ok thanks although i have read some varied comments on the APR maps.  i sees to remember something about it being developed for the US models??  Either way as long as the Oettinger map is not a renamed APR then i would be fairly happy.  Just need to know how it performs.................
