i got a mk3 one from GSF, along with VW pipes into the matrix from the engine. before i had no hot air, even when the car was at full temp, and that was last winter. ive only really had it idling on the drive due to it being work in progress, but damn its toasty. best thing ive done, forget the G-lader lol..

.. just looking at the threads on this, i bet the newer VW owners think we are simple, All we want is some heat and we are happy lol.

Nah, the MK3 owners,  :lipsrsealed: Boats
The MK4 owners, well they're too busy arguing over the 1.8T GTI, 2.0 GTI and the GT TDI
The MK5 boys (and girls) are also too busy fretting about the MK6 coming out and ruining their reign as the latest GTi

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

not cleaning the matrix is the kind of mistake you only make once
quite annoying that the reason you fit it is for heat, but you freeze your nuts off anyway as you have to have all the windows open so you can breathe!

Actually I want heat, but more importantly some steering feel, sharp throttle response...etc. etc.
