Does anyone elses STINK after fitment

not a burning smell as such, but a ransid one all the same ?????

its only done 30 miles since fitment so I am hoping it goes with time  :cry:

its a protective coating they come with.. mine was like it then it cleared. now i cant get over half heat or my face starts to liquidate away from my skull  :grin:

Yeah they honk. The second one I did I cleaned with white spirit and then car shampoo before fitting. Smelled lovely :-)

I have also in the past put the fan on full pelt and sprayed anti bacterial Fabreeze into the heater air intake.

DO IT! it is a sh!tty job, but very rewarding all the same, and you get fab heat!!

its not actually that hard imho.

Remove steering wheel and stalks, remove Radio and heater control panel. remove Dash.. then you have complete
access to the heater box. well worth getting rid of the Valves if you have those fitted, at the same time.

It's worth doing. Mine was steam cleaned before it went in  :cool:

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.
