How much is a re-map and would a 1.8t mk4 150bhp need an uprated clutch after being mapped to around 200bhp?

Cheers,

Dec

EDIT: Just looked on the website and for a pre 2000 car for around 195bhp its £200 i think?

Would an uprated clutch be needed for this or would the standard one hold up to it?

Cheers

Hello M8!

Web site price is now £200, but you will get the full golfgtiforum.co.uk members discounts
http://r-techpower.co.uk/results.php?sel1=VW&sel2=GOLF_MK4&sel3=1.8T_20V_150BHP_AGU&button=Go%21

The OE clutch will hold up well with the remap there wont be any issuse.  But saying that if your clutch is already on its was out the remap will finish it off for sure. :undecided:

But we can now offer uprated clutches for the 1.8Ts and TDIs :smug:

Plus lots more goodies to come over the next few weeks, V-max coil overs, Pipercross stockist, Remus exhausts, Nology ingnition systems. supplied and fitted. I have been bust the past 3 weeks trying to get the shop sorted out and find the suppliers (Which are only on my doors step) http://www.perfco.co.uk/index.asp
