brake light switch
« on: 30 September 2008, 12:31 »
after the G60 conversion my brake lights are on as soon as the battery is connected. i had the servo and MC off and i was messing around the back of the pedals. the lights go off if i unplug the switch or remove the fuse.

is the switch adjustable or is it likely i have another problem?

I had this very problem 3 days ago. The brake light switch is adjustable. Remove the connector, then remove the switch by rotating it 90 degrees to the left. The plunger will be in all the way, giving it the appearance of being short. Grab hold of the plunger and pull it back out. It is on a ratchet so it will be clicking. Then simply refit and connect.
