Looks OK. Every man and his dog has one of these crew cab pickup type things round my way, so I can see how VW would want to get into the market segment.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

Looks like most other pickups, with a the VW 'flare'.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Nothing like going for the lowest common denominator now, is there?

It's minging and shows how far from innovative and clever VW has gone.  

I'll bet it's longer than a T25 Syncro doka and I'll bet the loadbed isn't as big, or as usable.

Bring back the T25.

you and DH seem to agree on summat, and i'm sure a few others will as well....its a bit bland...looks like every other pickup thing imo
