I am at work so i cant see the pics, but i am guted for you mate.
as i said i cant see the pics but if they left bits of chicken on the car then it sounds like drunks with no respect for anything which in a way could be a good thing, meaning it may not have been personel to you just really bad luck.
On a lighter note if you ever catch them the best thing to do is get someone to hold down there hands and give quite a few well placed shots with a bat on both hands. this has a few benefits.
Firstly broken fingers never ever heal correctly, take ages to heal, and then garuantees arthritus when older.
secondly they really will think twice about doing it again when they have to have there mums holding there C**cks every time they want a p*ss and wiping there arse for them for probably 3-4 months.

Sorry to see this Raj, there's simply no excuse for it. The lowlifes that do this sort of thing need to be properly punished. 

I'm lucky enough to own a handgun and would have no issue with using it to defend my property or family.

It's not fair, you've worked hard to pay for decent things then it gets spoilt by $cum like that. I'd put the word around that a reward will be paid for some info about it, and if you hear anything then take the law into your own hands.

Nothing can excuse what someone did to your car. I had my wing mirror and wipers snapped off my Lupo GTI and you just feel like you've been violated in some way when it happens. The best way past it is to get the repairs arranged ASAP, little recompense for the damage, but at least it will not be a physical reminder for too long.

To say I was pi$$ed off when someone egged mine and chipped the pain work would be an understatement! I think even if I had seen someone doing that to a car I would want to cut their ballz off. Know how you kind of feel... the pain of seeing your car like that X the fact that someone out there really dislikes you = 

I guess if you keep the faith in what goes around comes around.. it should help to think of all the nasty things that could be laying in wait for the kn0bs that have done this!

....The Police would love to deal with such people properly but their hands are tied by all sorts of laws and 'human rights'. Gone are the days when the local bobby could grab hold of the miscreant's collar or ear and frog march him to see his dad who would then thrash his arse. People misbehaved of course but not to such the same extent and not without going unpunished - There definitely was less mindless crime. The robberies and fraud still went on and always will, but.

I hope I'm not raising the spectre of racism - I just mentioned it as a possibility rather than a likelihood and because I was desperate to understand a reason in such mindless scum's 'brains'.

I had my fair share of thrashings growing up, and I fully deserved them I can tell you ! Young criminals these days have more rights than their victims 

Its a whole different ball game now, knifes, armed robberies with violence etc, car theft, criminal damage.

My take on it is, if the Police or courts won't look after you and your property, unfortunatley you have to take "steps" to ensure you are protected properly....

feel foe you bud, had both my doors done in a hit and run, didn't like going out on the car. But a few months on its passed.

Few weeks ago on holiday i was sat in the car in a car park when a mondeo family pulled up kids flung open the door and hit my car, i was out like a flash, the woman who was on the other side denied the door hit my car luckily it hit the rear light and didn't do any damage, but they were left in no doubt that i was pissed off with them.I will banjo anyone that interferes with it!

When someone broke into our house for my E30 the copper said its a shame you dont have a shotgun to see them off, the problem is if you do happen to have to use it then you will discriminated against.

Some Asian women opened her car door when I had my Astra and carefully placed it against mine so she didnt have to hold it...I was like wtf are you doing, I dont care how carefully you place it get it the fudge of my car. Some people have no respect.

Raj, I'm gutted for you! 

Unfortunately, due to all the modern crash tests, and the fact that when kids use the roads as playgrounds, when a car hits them, the panels have to deform without hurting them.  This means that bonnets, door skins and the like are now very soft and easily bent, and would explain why the alarm didn't go off.  However, the Golf 5, being a fine German engineered car - the outer door skins are actually a bolt on item, and are really easy to change.  I even think it tells you how in my sticky workshop manual thread.

I'd be well inclined to keep a baseball bat inside my front door though - give em what they deserve!

hey new golf, how do you own a hand gun?? you would need a firearms licence (and even then i dont think your allowed one??)

i have a shotgun certificate and 2 shotguns that i could reach within 15secs if woken up
