From looking at that picture and reading the text it looks as if the top bit is just a cubby whole so if you where to remove that to try and fit another single din you would just be left with a massive whole and nothing to support it, if that makes sence. StevePs idea of running a nice double din with an amp to power speakers / amp to ensure good audio quality is by far the best option imo.

I found this on Ebay last night, and have had a reply from the seller:

This has two single dins and the cubby can be moved between either. Sure supporting two unit would be possible. I'm planning on fitting my Alpine HU first and a sub and whilst I'm doing that I should be able to work out the best option for a CarPC.

Cheers. :)

Fair enough then :)

Hope its a good colour match and fit :) You will have to up some snaps once you get it all fitted. Sounds like a verrrry cool system you got planned.

I bought the same single DIN fascia and it fits perfectly fine for me. I had an idea once of having my headunit in the top slot and a dvd player in the bottom slot, with a monitor on the top of the centre console where the tray/vent is that would flip up. I decided against it in the end due to a mixture of cost, wiring work and the fact that I would rarely use it other than to impress the ladies . But that fascia will fit two different units in it. I was able to fit the headunit on top and the dvd underneath. but had to get a cage for the dvd to fill the space a little since it didn't come with one. Once I did though it fit perfectly. The next problem is wiring power for both and there may be a bit of a heat issue, but it would probably work out fine.
Good luck with it man! Sounds like a great idea
