Once again a nice GTI meet here in the Netherlands through one of the most active forums regarding Golf V GTI.
In total about 40 GTI's showed up. Also a 997 GT3, a 997 cup car, Audi R8, Audi RS6, Audi S6 and a nice Golf I GTI were present. Also one of the last nice days of the year, so a great day out.
Only lowlight, I had the feeling I was down on power for a while now. The firm who had remapped my car were present, they took a quick drive and I'm not getting the turbo pressure I should, only 0,6 bar instead of the 1,1 bar I should get. So my DV is probably on it's way out. Tried to explain that to the stealers today

"A ripped circulation valve? A known weak point? No sir, never heard of it before and we see a lot of GTI's."
Anyways, some pics from the Dutch forum (not mine, not online yet)

Pirelli edition

Only a few Edition 30's present though

The GTI of the company that remapped my GTI, pushing 475 bhp now apparently. The DSG box is giving some headaches now, he waiting for uprated parts from Germany

The company remapping a GTI during the meet. They downloaded the standard map, mailed with a 3G modem to the shop, the owner/programmer analysed it and mailed the appropiate and tuned remap back. The guy on location drove the car to check out everything was ok.

The Golf GTI 240, a run-out model for the Dutch market by the importer. A standard GTI with Abt remap, a Pioneer navigation and aftermarker leather. Most (including me) were not highly impressed by it, very much an aftermarker mash-up to clear stocks. Cars are apparently from january '08, just before we got a big price reduction here. Not much people were interested in cars in stock at that time, as with the low prices people wanted to spec their own.
