Edition 30 Plaques!

This is the recent mail I received from VW customer service....

Thank you for your email dated .............., regarding obtaining a Golf Edition 30 plaque for your vehicle. I apologise for the delay in my response whilst we have been looking into your enquiry.

I have forwarded your request to our Head Office to find out a definite answer to whether the plaques are being made and if so an estimated date for the arrival.

I will email you again when I have a response regarding this and thank you for your patience whilst I obtain the correct information for you.

and i bet you dont hear back for a while, id just send an email everyday untill i get definate response.

It might be worth us all sending an e-mail with a link to EVERY thread about the plaques on here and other forums just to show them how we are given false promises, people denying any knowledge of them, conflicting e-mails etc.

this is sh!t !!!!! i have 2 letters from vw saying that the plaques are on the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
            ARE THEY JUST TELLING LIES ?????
 any edition 30 owner considering a new gti or scirroco should wait untill this issue is sorted
  vw customer care is a joke they need to take a leaf from skoda s book !!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry:

Yep, this has annoyed me.

I think it was Carron Cusworth from Customer Services was the one person that was adamant the plaques were coming in August/Sept... tomorrow is the last day of september!
