I think they should have made the 'smiley' in the lower grill outlined in red- to pick up where the MK 5 left off.

Think that would look awesome!

That pic of the blue Mk6 is the best and the first time I have looked at a picture of the Mk6 and been tempted

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Improved quality maybe but the audio system is not a great fit in this photo

I really don't like the Mk6 dashboard details - That lower control panel looks far too fussy and tricky to use while driving. I really hate the new steering wheel too.

Robin, It is the same as the passat cc  (you probably know that already lol) and i must admit the 'dial' section does not feel as firm to use imo.

I was looking at a new Passat CC in my dealer's showroom on Friday - Stunning in a rich midnight blue but a very big car and not my style (being a GTI man-racer!). Whatever car cabin it's in, I don't like the look of those controls but I'll sit in that Passat CC next time I visit and play with the controls.

I have noticed they have changed the gear knob between the concept (white car) and those shown at Paris?  The concept has a smooth gear knob where as the Paris cars have the classic golf ball inspired gear knob!

I think the smooth gear knob is the DSG and the golf ball the manual option.

less of this nob talk please, this is a car forum

Well spotted VeedubDan i missed that. The gearknob was one of the things i wondered why they had not changed to the golfball for the mk6 looks like they now have.
