Phil, I take it timings for start etc will be out soon?

Are most people going for the day or half day????

Don't want to get up too early or late for that matter???

....

Whether my Mk5 turns up clean or not will depend entirely where I've had to drive this week and the weather and if I have time to clean her Friday afternoon.

I haven't powdercoated my Monza 18's yet - Having spent on my diff and needing to investigate my slightly 'bouncy' front suspension which might need money spending. I think I've found the colour though.

Both my front 'chin' and rear roof spoiler have been repainted.

I've got 2 surprises to be revealed on Saturday

By the sounds of it of late lots of edition 30's have been taken a hammering! with the odd knock, scrape etc!
Yeah sounds like September's not a good month for ED30s. Must remember this for next year!

I will be Poor old "Mr Standard Ed30" there, so ill just have to be as shiny as possible!

At least you have DSG to console yourself! I've got a manual!

I bet know though, i will win the "Most stone chips award "in the GTi 5 catagory!

And I'll win the most scrapes/poorest presentation.

Anybody have any idea what time we're all meeting up, how long it'll take and estimated time of finishing?

EDIT: This'll be my first offline meet of any forum/car group ever. Is there a protocol? Should I bring something?

....Some dry clothes to change into.

[just kidding!] You'll find that everyone is very friendly (not over friendly you'll be relieved to hear).

everyone will need to try and be there by 9am to get the safety briefing over with. Its entirely up to you how long you stay, im guessing its a good 6 hrs to do everyone!, all your 3 runs will be together so dont feel that you have to stay till the end matie if you need to shoot.

And yes tis customary the Moderator does eat Pie's, pastys, Burgers etc
