MFA temp gauge
« on: 27 September 2008, 21:07 »
Mine has just started playing up, seemed to be fine until today and now just jumps around pretty randomly between 100 and 114 when driving (had it showing 104 then 114 then 110 in about a 10 second period while cruising at 70). It seems to work OK when still when car's sationary though. Does the engine use any readings from the sensor or is it just for the MFA? If its just for the MFA I'll sort it when I can be bothered but if the engine actually technically needs it to be working right I'll sort it ASAP!

the oil temp sensor is only there for the oil temp function on the MFA,    whitch itself has no other pourpose than to make peopel randomy worry about oil temp

My MFA temp went a bit weird a while back. The connector must have been a bit squiffy, as a clean and re-connection sorted it out permanently.
