Cant tell and the seller doesnt explain what size they are
Can anyone tell by looking at them?

Wooah - they certainly are NOT Brembo calipers.

They are OEM-spec Teves ATE FNRG calipers, and yes, they are from the current Leon Cupra.

The correct size for the discs should be 345mm in diameter, and 30mm thick.

If you fit them to a GTI or Ed30, then you will also need the larger rear splash shields (1K0 615 311 C and 1K0 615 312 C - about a fiver for each), and the different flexible brake hoses (1K0 611 701 M - qty2).  And a litre of fresh Volkswagen-only brake fluid (B 000 750 M3)!

The R32 had two different hoses, so you need to get the correct ones which will fit both ends correctly.

Yup.

He just needs to put those I quoted above straight into the Dialog ordering system.

Did the calipers come supplied with the pads, as shown in the pictures?

Do you need to do a fluid change?

When I used to fit 312's I would leave the cap on and just swap the pipes over.  You'll obviously get air in the line but the fluid won't all leak out.  As long as you make sure to keep the resoviour topped up you should be ok. Bleed them all round when you are finished.

Dropping all of the fluid out can cause you a headache unless you have a decent pressure bleeder.

Can I get away with not changing fluid?  it was only done 6 months ago at the dealer mind you. we're using the conventional route of pumping the brake pedal rather than using spare wheel/eezibleed to pressure bleed the system.

but if we can avoid fluid change then that would save time!
