Engines
« on: 27 September 2008, 11:41 »
Hello everyone on the forum just joined today just wanted to ask a question which i am finding hard to answer. i have bought myself a mk4 golf gti 20v and i have had it for about 5 months in the last 2 months i havent been able to drive it due to a problem which i cant work out. It not starting propley it sounds like its miss firing however had new spark plugs put on. my mate works for vw in ashford and hes had it at the garage using the dignostics computer but it tells him there is nothing wrong with the engine at all. We have checked the fuel pump and all is good. The only things that we have done to the car is put a pipercross panel filter on it. if any one can help me or has any questions dont hesitate to email me my email address is matthewboxall@hotmail.com. my user name is boxall cheers everyone.
