Did they do the whole lower splitter john?? cus bright silver will show where its been sprayed, It looks too bright to me??? maybe the light just shining on it. Was it from a Proper pressurised Paint gun and hopefully not from a can.
It wasn't the lower splitter that was damaged, it was the main bumper section just above it. So, if you thought from the picture it was the splitter that didn't look like it matched the upper section is only partially sprayed in the picture.....so it must be a good match

Yes, he had proper pressurised spray equipment too. If he'd turned up with a can of VW paint then I would have kicked him out and done it myself as I've got a can in the garage
