Got a nice surprise whilst Hoovering the Golf!
« on: 25 September 2008, 20:03 »
Pumped the seats to maximum height so I could get the hoover under them, and found an amp under the passenger seat base!
Was this option called soundpack? and how much was it?
It would make sense as the headunit is a in dash 6 disc (RCD510 I think) so maybe the 2 could be ordered together?

Cool! I thought it might have cost a few bob. I took the plastic cover off to take the pic btw!

So where are the extra 2 speakers located then? as they have 8 speakers standard.

Dammit and I've already parked the car in the garage!

Gonna have a look tomorrow.

I found out I had the stereo with the 6-cd changer built into it accidentally when I tried to load a CD, not realising it already had one in there, then got confused when I couldn't find the other (first) CD! Pity it didn't support mp3s.
