Me too, NEWEY. I'm finding that the Mk6 GTI is growing on me while the Scirocco is doing the opposite regarding its body styling.

The Scirroco is one ugly looking thing, ive seen it in the flesh i hated the design and what is with the J Lo ass !!!

Also what is with the bump strips on the side skirts thats retarded on a like 10 levels.

RedRobin go take a look at your car for 5 minutes i think you will find the mk6 ugly as hell compared to it !!! :D

....I haven't seen my car since Monday! It's in pieces at VW Racing, being "transformed" (using their words). Well, I've just heard that I'll get it delivered to me this evening. I'm not swopping it for a Mk6!!

When you get it back i think it will be one of the best handling and quicker golfs out there !!!

Just remind me never to sit in your car till i have diff money otherwise i'll be hating my golf !!

Is there anything left to do to your golf !!! ?

Well there are a couple of other "transformations" apart from the diff - One is visible and the other isn't - Portsmouth will reveal all

The question now is how well I as a driver can measure up to my Mk5's new capabilities . She'll be here in the next few hours and I can feel her speeding towards me now in the more than capable hands of VWR's main man. Tomorrow I'm taking my daughter to a Uni open day, so it'll be a good 200 miles but probably not enough twisties.

Time for me to start a new thread on the subject.
