Jap works RSB alloys

Hi,

Got some guy who my Mrs works with trying to sell me some Jap Works RSB alloys - I personally have never heard of the things, Hence coming on my favourite forum to ask some experts.

He wants £300 for them refurbed - I think its the Jap equivilant of BBS, i think they may use them on Skylines etc.

Can anyone let me know if this is a good make and what they are like in comparison to BBS. I personally want a set of BBS RX to go on the Mk 3.

Oh and this guy quoted to my Mrs that "BBS are like playdo in comparison"

get a pic matey, what size are they, are they magnesium?? if so will be good, not sure on a golf tho!, maybe still to a german wheel...BBS is a timeless classic for the 3 or any golf infact, i dont think jap wheels have a home on a dub..

Your best to find what car they fit too.... pointless buying non fitting wheels  :wink:
I'm sure skylines are 5x108??

Yeah good point mate.

I've not even got that far yet.

I just always end up arguing with this guy cos he's into Jap Crap and I'm into Deutsch!!

He thinks he knows everything about all things cars.

What is the make like in comparison to BBS?

I guess the jap bbs will be someone like enkei?  They look like a good quality jap rim which seems to appeal to the ricer's.... My friend imports and sells jap cars and non of the rims they have fitted would suit a vdub. and non would bolt onto mine..

Ha Ha, like the term "ricers"

They don't look like bad quality wheels, I think your right in saying that they don't have a place on a veedub even if they did fit.

used to have enkei on my swift...:)

id stay away from the rims mate, get bbs for your dub, you will always wish u had if you dont
