Well I'm not really a newbie as I registered over a year ago when I was definitely going to buy a MK5 Golf GTi.
In the end a house purchase that never happened stopped me getting one, but on Friday I finally put a deposit down of a 57plate 08 Black 3dr. Only options are Arm Rest and Cruise - I would like 18s but not too worried as I can add some nice wheels at a later date.
So I thought I'd say hi as I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time on here, and I plan to fit a carputer so I'm hoping someone else has already fitted one.
I spend a lot of time on pistonheads too, so hi to anyone from over there!
Can't wait to pick up my car next Saturday, I've not even seen it yet as it's coming from VW's central stock!!
